ABOUT

The Dell Sisters are a filmmaking team who love female-driven genre, across platforms and borders. Past works include TROUBLED YOUTH, a horror series for CryptTV with over 14 million views on FB and YT, and B-GIRL, a narrative feature about a female breakdancer, released globally and available on Amazon. Elizabeth produces feature films and digital content and is the Chair of the International Committee for the Producers Guild of America (PGA); Emily is a writer and director, as well as author of the graphic novel VERONA, and the Executive Director of the Screencraft Writers Summit. Elizabeth and Emily love nerd jokes and host excellent dinner parties.

ELIZABETH DELL

Elizabeth has known Emily Dell all of her life.  In addition to being jie-jie, Elizabeth is a creative producer working in feature films, television and digital.  She recently produced the romantic comedy Destination Wedding, starring Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves, released worldwide. She line-produced feature comedy The Swing of Things in Jamaica and is actively developing several feature and TV projects.  She is the co-founder and CFO of Array Entertainment, a slate fund focused on female-driven, commercial, genre films. 

 

Elizabeth is also the Chair of the International Committee for the Producers Guild of America (PGA).  She actively consults for US and Chinese entertainment companies, including production services for Chinese companies filming in the US, site evaluations for Chinese films, etc.    Elizabeth has produced 100+ episodes of digital content for major platforms with influencers and brands including Matt Santoro, Mamrie Hart, Elliott Morgan, Purina, Verizon, Anheuser-Busch, USA Tourism and Jeep China.   She also produced B-GIRL, a narrative hip-hop dance feature distributed worldwide. She is a regular speaker on producing, China, entertainment, digital media, and entrepreneurship.  Elizabeth and her sister have been featured in the National Women’s History Museum.  She has a Chemistry degree from Amherst College and Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley.

EMILY DELL
Writer, Director

 

Emily Dell is an award-winning writer and director whose work has had over 16 million views online.  Dell attended NYU film school, and UC Berkeley, with dual degrees in Neurobiology and International Literature.  Dell’s proudest achievements include the ability to eat M&M’s with chopsticks, officiating the wedding of her two best friends, and the time she sold a dirty poem for a bottle of 18-year-old scotch.

Dell is currently producing podcast “Women In The Wild” with TV Showrunner Wendy Calhoun (GRAY’S ANATOMY, EMPIRE, etc).  She sold screenplay THE RULES OF BUSINESS to The China Film Group, the largest studio in China and is developing screenplays with production companies based at Warner Bros and more. Her graphic novel VERONA for Emet Comics is available wherever comic books are sold.

In 2018 Dell created the series TROUBLED YOUTH for digital network CryptTV (>14M views) and for Blumhouse Films she directed an original short for film UPGRADE, which received over 1 million views in the first week.

Dell’s short BATTLE airs on Robert Rodriguez’s El Rey Network and last feature, B-GIRL, is available on Netflix, Amazon and Alibaba. She directs commercials and branded content for clients such as Marvel Studios, Fox Home Video, PepsiCo, Estee Lauder, and was awarded a 2017 American Advertising (“Addy”) Award.
